Is the platform really free for artists?
Yes. Every artist joins with a free ARTIST profile. The full platform, including analytics and AI guidance, is available at no cost. The moment you distribute your first track, your account upgrades automatically to ARTIST_PRO, unlocking live Revenue Pulse and advanced financial reporting, all still at zero cost, permanently.
What is the difference between ARTIST and ARTIST_PRO?
Every creator starts with a standard ARTIST profile. The instant you release your first track through either distribution path, the platform automatically and permanently upgrades your account to ARTIST_PRO. No action required. No fee. No expiration.
How do I connect my music platforms?
From your dashboard, go to Settings and select Connect Platforms. Follow the guided steps for each platform you want to link.
Which distribution path is right for me?
If you want the simplest release experience, Standard Distribution (Path B) gives you 100% of master revenue minus a variable distribution fee (20% default), and no investor splits. If you want upfront funding and a community of invested fans, Creative Funding (Path A) is built for you.
How is the 12-month advance calculated?
The advance is calculated by our Artist Rank engine using your streaming history, social engagement, and market trajectory. It is a projection, not a guarantee. You will see the full estimate before you confirm anything.
What is the Co-Ownership Phase?
For Creative Funding releases, the Co-Ownership Phase activates at the 5-year mark. At that point, the 25% share held by your early fan-investors transitions to the platform as a long-term supporting network partner. Your distribution fee drops to absolute zero, permanently. You retain 75% of master revenue for the full lifetime of the release.
