Delete the data we collected from your connected platforms

1How to submit a request by email

Send an email to the address below with the subject line "Data Deletion Request":

Please include the following so we can locate and verify your account:

• The email address registered with your SoundEX.ai account
• Your artist name as it appears on the platform (if applicable)
• Which platforms the request covers, and the username you connected on each, so we delete the right data and nothing else

For each platform you name, we remove the following from our production database and our backups within 30 days:

4Revoke access directly on each platform

You can also withdraw SoundEX.ai's access at the platform itself, and we recommend doing both. This stops us reaching your account there. It does not by itself delete what we already collected, so write to us for that as well.

5Response timeline

• Within 72 hours · We acknowledge receipt of your request by email and may ask you to verify identity if needed.
• Within 30 days · We complete the deletion in our production database and caches. Our backups are kept for a week and rotate out inside the same window.
• Confirmation · We send a final confirmation email when deletion is complete.

6How we handle your request

Deletion requests are handled by a person, not automatically. Write to us at the address above and we will action your request within 30 days, and confirm to you by email when it is done. If your request covers one connected platform only, tell us which one and the rest of your account is left untouched.

Removing the SoundEX.ai app from your Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or Spotify settings withdraws our permission at that platform, so we can collect nothing further from it. It does not by itself delete the information we have already collected. To have that deleted as well, write to us.

7Closing your account is a separate request

Everything above leaves your account open. To close the account itself, go to Settings, open the Security tab and choose Close your account, or write to us at the address above with the subject line "Account closure". A member of our team reviews every closure personally and confirms by email.

If your music is in distribution with SoundEX.ai, your account is what keeps your royalties flowing to you, so closure follows the terms of your distribution agreement. Write to us and we will guide you through the service request.
